Once you have uploaded your herd info from BCMS the next step is to enter the Name/Number of the individual animals.

The first step is to search for the animal. 

Firstly, click on "Ancestry" on the dashboard.

This will take you to the search screen where you can search for an individual animal. 

Enter in the required Number/Name of the animal you want and almost instantaneously the link to the info on that particular animal will appear.

If this is the first search for the animal after uploading from BCMS then the best option is to use the last 4 digits of the animals ear tag number. 

In this case number 5080 is used which is both the last 4 digits of the animals ear tag and also the animals Name/Number.

If the animal has not been Named/Numbered yet then a list of suggested ear tag numbers will be shown.

The next step is to click on the "Animal Information" link, this will take you to the animals details.

Here you can enter the animal's Type, Name/Number and any other info you wish.

Once you have entered the necessary info, save the changes by clicking on the "Save " button.

Scroll down to enter the animal's value and access the family tree information.
